Beauty and trend expert Neil Scibelli tells “Good Morning America” that though varsity fashion has already made a splash over the last few years, “We’re seeing it now more than ever.”

You may have noticed the trend on famous figures like Hailey Bieber, John Legend and Princess Diana as well as in beloved film and television shows like “Grease,” “Clueless” and “Gossip Girl.” Designers like Ralph Lauren and Tommy Hilfiger are “keeping the trend alive both on the runways and on the city streets,” Scibelli adds.

What pieces should you shop now?

Scibelli notes that school uniform-inspired style incorporates women’s clothing pieces like classic white button downs, plaid woven skirts, penny loafers and bomber jackets. For men, looks are team-spirit inspired, like with rugby polos and jeans, varsity jackets, cable-knit pullover sweaters and sneakers.
