Nina first shared a glimpse at her glow-up in a video posted to her TikTok channel, where she boasts over 54,000 followers, and frequently shares clips comparing the US to France.

She said: ‘Everyone is talking about the girlfriend effect. What about the living abroad effect?’

Then, the singer-songwriter showed a series of photos that boasted her looks before and after she moved.

In the snaps of her living in the US, Nina donned more patterns, including striped parachute pants, a plaid skirt and a polka-doted skirt.

In the photos of her after residing in Paris for three years, she opted for much more simple looks.

Nina sported an off-the-shoulder white dress, a leather skirt, a turquoise dress, a linen set, and a red dress.

As well as opting for more neutral tones in her style, Nina seemed to pair all of her outfits with heels after moving to France.

She told DailyMail.com that after switching locations, she put more thought into the quality of her clothes.

The singer-songwriter said: ‘I started opting for higher quality basics and statement pieces, so focused more on quality over quantity. ‘

She noted that fashion in the states revolves around trends and less about personal style.

Nina explained: ‘US style in comparison is heavily oriented towards latest trends with people regularly doing a re-haul of their wardrobe.

‘Because of this, I was really into fast fashion while living in the states. I gave it up once moving to Paris!’

And seeing how other Parisians dressed on their casual days helped inspire Nina when it came to her own style.

She explained that those living in France always make an effort to look their best, whereas in the states, there isn’t as much emphasis on the clothes you wear.

‘The universal expectation to make an effort to look “nice” whenever you leave your house.

‘As fashionable as Lululemon and Patagonia may seem to us, you’ll never see athleisure on the streets in Paris.

‘This pushed me to start being more creative with my personal style as I had more excuses to get ready properly!’ the fashionista revealed to DailyMail.com.

Prior to moving to Paris, the influencer thought fashion and beauty had to be bold and make a statement.

When she packed her bags and headed to the city of lights, she realized that French style was more simple.

She explained: ‘Going to school in southern California, I had a very contrasting vision of what was considered beautiful and stylish.

‘California is about a flashy, very done up version of ourselves where French style is more discreet. I try to pull from both to keep it interesting!’

The singer-songwriter also shared advice to Americans who want to boost their style.

She told DailyMail.com: ‘It would be really cool if we, as Americans, stopped putting so much emphasis on using fast fashion to keep up with trends. It’s ok to have less clothes.

‘I look and feel so much better when I’m wearing quality pieces, and it’s totally fine to be an outfit repeater!’
