Today, Middleton attended a class on the relationship between neuroscience and child development at Nower Hill High School in Harrow, London. The Duchess wore a Hobbs fuchsia turtleneck and coat that looked very comfortable for the event. The all-white ensemble was broken up by a pair of black skinny pants and a pair of pointed-toe suede pumps.
Kate opted for a minimalist look, wearing simply her engagement ring and a pair of small silver hoops. Her trademark loose curls were displayed in her chestnut hair.
Kate was one of eight pupils in a classroom study of neuroscience and the maturation of the human brain in infancy. The princess praised the students for their attentiveness and interest in the session.
The duchess will be discussing the findings of the Oxford University study with the Chief Executives of Academy Trusts later today at Buckingham Palace.
Kate and Prince William were scheduled to appear in a Christmas special on BBC before the release of their new two-part series The Princes and the Press. The royal residences of Buckingham Palace, Kensington Palace, and Clarence House released a joint statement criticizing the network for airing the series, stating their “disappointment.” Currently, the special may be seen on ITV.
“A free, responsible, and open press is of critical importance to a functioning democracy,” it said. “However, it is disappointing when anyone, including the BBC, gives credibility to exaggerated and baseless statements from nameless sources.
