Bindi Irwin’s Daughter Grace Is a Mini Fashion Model in the Cutest New Video

Grace Irwin is only two-and-a-half, but she’s already been a cover star. Now, she’s trying her adorable little hand at something new: runway fashion modeling!

Bindi Irwin and Chandler Powell shared a new video of their toddler for the Australia Zoo’s YouTube channel. “Fashion runway takes a funny turn when Grace finds a hose!” the YouTube Short was captioned.

In the clip, Irwin and Powell wear their khaki uniforms at the Steve Irwin Wildlife Reserve in North Queensland, where they tell the funny story of their little girl’s modeling experience. A team member from the Australia Zoo brought up several of their new line of kids’ t-shirts for Grace to model, and she looks absolutely adorable doing it, of course.

“[The shirts are] super cute and Grace wanted to show them off to everyone in her fashion icon way,” Bindi says in the video. It shows clips of Grace twirling, playing in bubbles, being lifted in the air by her uncle Robert Irwin, and strutting her stuff! At one point, she wears a pink t-shirt that says, “The Khaki Is a Part of Me,” and our hearts can’t handle the cuteness!

Everything was fine until Grace found a hose…

“So we set up Grace’s fashion runway,” Powell explains over a clip of Grace jumping and shouting “Crikey!” while being photographed. “Which quickly turned into Grace’s water show,” Powell added. “Hence why I am soaking wet.”

Grace runs around with a water hose, pressing the nozzle to spray everyone in sight. She sprays her dad, who runs away laughing. Grace gives the biggest smile, so proud of herself! Such a cutie.

“She is absolutely adorable & looks so doggone cute in the shirts! 💜” one person commented. Someone else wrote, “Little kids + a water hose… GUARANTEED FUN 👍😆.”

“Cutest little wildlife warrior❤,” another person wrote. It’s so true!

Grace wore khaki for a May 2022 cover story for PEOPLE. “Our current battle is if you’re not wearing khaki, Grace gets pretty weirded out,” Irwin told the outlet. “Living in the zoo, where we have a family of 400 people all wearing khaki, if she sees someone not wearing it, she’s like, ‘You are new and different. What’s happening?’ I mean, I did not think to plan for that.”

In a recent interview with SheKnows, the wildlife conservationist opened up about the importance of play in her family.

“We were kind of this wild family,” she said. “I grew up within Australia Zoo, so my home and my backyard is a sanctuary filled with wildlife. Growing up, we traveled a lot for our conservation work as well, and no matter where we were or what we were doing, we would always have playtime together as a family.”

Irwin added, “I think you’re never too old to have a play. Play may look different as you get older, but it’s so important to have that playful energy in your life.”
