Gisele Bundchen has showcased her supermodel credentials once again while posing topless in an array of stunning new campaign photos.
The Brazilian beauty, 43, was named as the face of the Winter 2023 collection for Californian fashion house Frame today – with the brand releasing a series of sultry images of the model posing in its designs in celebration of the new partnership.
Gisele models Frame’s latest collection, which is said to mark a new creative era for the brand as it enters its second decade – a concept that also rings true for the supermodel, who herself is starting a new chapter in the wake of her divorce from NFL star Tom Brady one year ago.
The most eye-catching snaps see the mom-of-two go topless in a series of very playful poses as she wrapped her arms around her body and tenderly touched her lip.
In other images, shot by seminal fashion photographer David Sims, batwing crop tops, skin-tight leggings and plunging tail coats all offer a glimpse of Gisele’s enviable physique.
Elsewhere, she slipped into jeans as well as oversized jacket to put the brand’s ‘denim icons’ front and center.
Mother-of-two Gisele – who shares daughter Vivian, 10, and son Benjamin, 13, with her ex-husband, who also has a son, Jack, 15, from a previous relationship with Bridget Moynahan – was said to be the first woman that Frame co-founder Erik Torstensson thought of to represent the brand’s ‘new elevated codes for dressing.’
Torstensson, who has known the model for a number of years, has perennially sought out his friends in the industry to collaborate with in a bid to create an ‘authentic community.’
The fashion guru, who wanted a model who was both aspirational and attainable, said: ‘This is not just a new decade for Frame, it is a new era.
‘Fall is a true representation of the creative vision we had for the brand when we started and for me there can be no greater living icon in our campaign than Gisele.
‘She is more than a model. She is an entrepreneur, a mother and an environmentally-focused individual, who embodies wellness and thoughtfulness with an incredible work ethic and effortless style.
‘It’s an honor to work with her and a dream come true for the brand.’
Gisele is the latest star to partner with the brand, following in the footsteps of the likes of Karlie Koss and Julia Sarr-Jamois.
And the collaboration is just the latest in a long line of projects she has undertaken since making a comeback.
She stepped away from her fashion career to raise her two children with NFL star Brady but returned to her supermodel roots in the wake of their breakup.
Gisele’s initial project after coming out of retirement was a topless campaign for Louis Vuitton in January.
Since then she has collaborated with the likes of Louis Vuitton and Gaia Herbs, posed for the front cover of Vogue Italia and even launched her own cookbook – to name just a few of her latest projects.
The model made clear her intentions about returning to the fashion industry even before her divorce from Brady was announced in October 2022 – when she spoke out about his decision to U-turn on his retirement in an interview published weeks before they confirmed they had split.
Speaking to Elle Magazine in September 2022, Gisele said: ‘I feel very fulfilled, as a mother and as a wife. And now it’s going to be my turn.’
She hit out at the suggestion that she was ‘desperate’ for her then-husband to retire from the NFL – but made clear that she was no longer willing to put her own career on hold in order to be a full-time wife and mother.
‘I think this is the system we’ve been living in. That’s what society has accepted and what society hasn’t accepted,’ she said.
‘Obviously, I have my concerns—this is a very violent sport, and I have my children and I would like him to be more present.
‘I have definitely had those conversations with him over and over again.
‘But ultimately, I feel that everybody has to make a decision that works for [them]. He needs to follow his joy, too.’
Last month, the model opened up about what her life has been like since the end of her marriage, explaining that while she was ‘just surviving’ in the final days of her relationship, she now feels as though she is ‘living’ one more.
Speaking to CBS News Sunday Morning, Gisele explained that the pair simply ‘grew apart’, before sharing: ‘I think before I was more surviving, and now I’m living, which is different.’
She admitted that the divorce was ‘not what she had dreamed of’ or ‘hoped for’, continuing: ‘My parents have been married for 50 years, and I really wanted that to happen..
”But I think you have to accept you know sometimes that the way you are in your 20s, it’s sometimes you grow together, sometimes you grow apart … I mean, he’s the father of my kids, so I always wish him the best, and I’m so grateful that he gave me wonderful children.’
