Rochester, N.Y. — A brand new style hit Rochester’s runways on Wednesday, ahead of Rochester Fashion Week.
The brand new show by the Adirondack Mountain Club: High Peaks to High Fashion, is the first ever show to benefit local nonprofits that promote the inclusion of people with disabilities in the outdoors.
The free show at the Eisenhart Auditorium, demonstrated that you can do all sorts of outdoor activities like hiking, biking and paddling all while looking stylish.
ADK Fashion Show partnered with brands like REI, Land’s End, Running Outfitters and more to showcase outdoor fashion.
Rochester Accessible Adventure, a local nonprofit, was highlighted at the event for their efforts in making the outdoors more accessible to more people.
In addition to the fashion show, Adirondack Mountain Club also held a 50/50 raffle with proceeds going towards Rochester Accessible Adventure.
